Many doctors and other medical practitioners use the centre for many of their patients, as they have found that counselling, combined with cognitive behavioural therapy, has significantly improved their patients’ recovery rates.
All of our counsellors are compassionate and non-judgemental and have training and experience in the counselling profession. We have accredited counsellors affiliated with the IACP and other counsellors who are working towards their IACP accreditation. Each counsellor working in our centre abides by the code of ethics set out by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Our centre offers individual, couple and family counselling, and we specialise in disorders such as sex addiction, depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, such as bi-polar, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and GAD(General Anxiety Disorder), etc., eating disorders, low self-esteem, blushing, and bereavement. We also offer a general form of counselling to help our clients identify their issues and any problems they may be experiencing. We also help clients with anger management problems, using conflict resolution strategies.
All of the above issues can be greatly helped by also using a Cognitive Behavioural approach, where necessary, to complement the counselling and psychotherapy that we offer.
Additionally, we offer Holistic Massage Therapy to work in conjunction with the psychotherapy treatment.
